Wilfried Zaha Crystal Palace 2019-20

The individual brilliancy from the Ivory Coast international for the Eagles has been named the best effort by the English top-flight

Premier League has picked Wilfried Zaha’s strike for Crystal Palace against Huddersfield Town as the Goal of the Day.

The winger netted the goal in the 38th minute of the game which secured the Eagles maximum points and contributed to their 12th-place finish last season.

After he was set up by Ghana international Jordan Ayew, the Ivory Coast international carried the ball from 40 yards into the area and then beat two of his markers before smashing home his effort past hapless goalkeeper Jonas Lossl.

The former Manchester United forward went on to score 10 goals before the end of last season as Palace maintained their Premier League status.

This term, Zaha has registered three goals and provided five assists in 29 Premier League games before the league was suspended owing to coronavirus fears.
